02Descriptions
One line. The Commit App is an iPhone accountability app: you set a commitment, name the proof it takes, and the people you pick can see whether you did it.
Short. The Commit App (Commit) is an iPhone app for people who already know what to do and aren't doing it. You write a commitment while you mean it, choose the proof it takes and who checks it, and decide in advance what a miss costs. The terms don't reopen when you're tired.
Long. The Commit App is an iPhone accountability app built on one idea: decide once, while you still care. Every commitment names its own proof, captured live in the app (a photo, video, GPS check-in, or an Apple Health or Screen Time reading). Friends you choose, or Commit AI, check it. Groups of up to ten share a streak that only moves when everyone shows up. A miss costs what you chose when you signed: nothing but the streak, locked apps, or money. The Commit App is built by George Henin and operated by Cognitive Health Research LLC in San Francisco. It is in public beta on TestFlight and free while in beta.
